Malia – School Vision Days

Monday 7 June 2021

Hey all

On Tuesday 8 June I went on a park run I couldn’t believe that we went to the park run. It was being kind to ourselves as we were having fresh air and we were keeping are bodies and minds healthy. We ran 4 laps around the big field . Also we completed some yoga stretches.

We were being kind to each other and ourselves and we had fresh air and exercise. It helped me to relax and to clear our minds. On the same day I wrote a letter to the hospital. Mine was to A&E. I was being kind to others as we were saying thank~you for all your hard work and support

A few days ago I went to our school allotment. I had a tour of some sites and dug up plots for plants ready to grow. There were lots of potatoes and carrots. There was lots of weed which we removed. We got pine cones and put fat and seeds on it for the birds to eat, see we are helping the environment. Anyway we started to paint and put blobs of brown paint and blew it with a paper straw we had. Me and my friends were putting water on our faces because we were that hot. On Monday we did yoga which is being kind to ourselves. We were being kind to our selves by doing a long park run at Eaton Park on Tuesday Afternoon.

Monday 7th June

I went to the allotment and saw carrots, strawberries and potatoes. We were split into 2 groups and we had a tour around the allotments. After the tour I was digging up the weeds to make a bed for new plants and vegetables to grow. We put the weeds on the compost heap. I saw a big beetle on your leg and I put it safely down on the grass. One of my friends watered the plants so they didn’t die. It made feel happy being kind to the environment.

Tuesday 8th June

We went to Eaton park and ran four laps around the whole park. It was tiring when we were running. We also did yoga outside. It was relax and I had lots of fresh air and exercise. It was great for my body and cleared my mind. I found being kind to myself relaxing.

On Monday we went to our school allotment. When we arrived, we separated into different groups. Some of us went on a tour and some of us were clearing a patch of grass. Then we switched. We were being kind to ourselves and our world by getting the soil ready to plant some plants so we are looking after our environment. I enjoyed our time up at the allotment.

I went to the school allotment today. We were split into two groups. One group had to dig in the mud and grass, to prepare the soil for new plants. The second group had a tour to look around other peoples allotments. After that, we started to plant new seeds and we picked up some rubbish. When we got back to school we started to do Yoga to calm down and relax. After Yoga, we made bird food on top of the acorn to feed the birds when we finished making it. Finally, we had some calm reading outside.

Hey ya’ll,

The day before yesterday the 7th of June

I went up to the school allotment. First I got a tour with my teacher around the plant beds. Secondly (lastly), I went back to the front of the allotment and dug up weeds and grass in the soil and put it in the compost heap. We were being kind to the world by getting rid of all the weeds so new vegetables could grow. Then we went back to school and did a little bit more learning before I went home.

Tuesday the 8th June.

Then on Tuesday morning we went outside and did yoga poses which is being kind to my body and mind. Then in the middle of the day we made bird feeder by filing pine cones with bird seeds mixed with honey which means the birds can feed their babies. Finally it was P.E and I was getting confused because we were going out of school and we went to Eaton park. We ran 4 laps around the field and I got second to last place. It was exhausting keeping fit but I felt better afterwards. What do you do to keep fit?

by the way guys do you think you can tell other about your 2 days if so please share.

Bye ya’ll.

We went to the school allotment today. I couldn’t believe my eye’s as we were getting grass out of the mud because it was so long. This was so we could plant new seeds and bulbs. Then we went on a tour of the allotment it was huge. We picked up rubbish out side so animal’s don’t get stuck in the rubbish. It felt to care for our environment.

Then the next day, on Tuesday, we did yoga in the morning we were stretching out side. This is being kind to myself. Then we wrote letters to the hospital saying thank you for helping us and keeping us safe from Covid 19 and looking after us. It felt great to do someone kind for the NHS workers. Finally, we went to Eaton park and ran 4 lap’s around the park. It was exhausting but healthy as I was exercising.

Me and my class went to Eaton park. I couldn’t believe that I went to Eaton park with my class! When we got there the teachers explained everything and the rules then all the teaching assistants went to each corner. There were a group of nice ladies having the picnic Mr Dooley and Mrs Slater shouted “on your marks get set go! We ran as fast as we could, the nice beautiful ladies cheered us on also the teachers. Suddenly I started to get a really bad stitch I started to slow down like a turtle. Delilah ran as a flash I couldn’t catch up then finally everyone finished running we all walked back to school. This is being kind to ourselves because we did exercise which is good for our bodies and brains.

the Mrs Slater announced the winners . THE END

Summer – School Vision Days

MONDAY 7th JUNE 2021

I went up to the school allotment today . As I walked in I saw veg, fruit and weeds growing. Then Mrs Slater said we would do some gardening and have a tour. First I was doing gardening by pulling out the weeds when my other school mates were having a tour. When they came back I was going on the tour and then my mates were finishing the gardening that my group was doing. As i was having a tour around the allotment Mr Dooley showed us around I smelt the loving flowers around us all. After that we started to go back to school. I really enjoyed my afternoon looking after the environment. What do you do to look after the environment?
