Polling has opened at Bluebell’s unofficial polling, as it has at Polling Stations across the country. When you go to vote, please take your children if you can. It is an important learning opportunity that shouldn’t missed. Ask the children about their vote when they get home.

Professor Catherine Rowett MEP came in from the Green party today. She talked about how she got into politics and how she is currently a Member of the European Parliament. The children asked a lot of questions about the Green party and Professor Rowett explained about how the party stand for protecting the environment.
Sandy Gilchrist, from the Brexit party, came to talk to the children today. He talked about voting, democracy and why this led to him standing for the Brexit party.
The candidate for the Conservative party, Mike Spencer, came to talk to the children. He talked about his career as a doctor and how this relates to his work as a politician.
