Hello and a very warm welcome to our school and our web site.
Here at Bluebell Primary School we aim to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in which they can learn the necessary skills to keep themselves safe and healthy. We have high expectations of the children and the adults within the school community. Behaviour shows consideration towards others and, in order for us to be considerate towards everyone, it is necessary to have some school rules. Our School rules are ‘We follow instructions’, ‘We take care of everyone and everything’ and ‘We show good manners’.
We have been working hard to consistently improve the school to provide the children with the best education we can possibly give them. The school has improved considerably and continues to do so, with standards improving and the children telling us that they feel happy, safe and enjoy learning.
In May 2016, following our OFSTED inspection, we were delighted to report that they found Bluebell Primary School a GOOD school.
OFSTED May 2016 ‘Leaders, managers and governors have communicated their vision and aims effectively to the whole school community.’
The school also hosts a Specialist Resource Base (SRB) for children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder. This is a County resource and children are admitted to the SRB through a panel that meets on a regular basis.
OFSTED May 2016 ‘In the specialist resource base, staff manage pupils’ behaviour extremely well and ensure that it is a calm and happy place to work.’
We hope you find the information you are looking for on our website, if you require further information, or do not find what you are looking for, please contact the school. We will be happy to help.
