Pupil Premium

‘Leaders spend the pupil premium effectively in supporting disadvantaged pupils so that gaps in their attainment are closing with other pupils. The school purchases specialist support, such as a speech and language teacher and a therapist, to help pupils with specific needs. Pupils also benefit from additional teaching and access to clubs and activities that enhance their experiences.’

OFSTED May 2016

The Pupil Premium is allocated to schools for children of statutory school age who are eligible under the published criteria. From September 2012 we are required to publish online information about how we have used the Premium. This will ensure that parents and others are made fully aware of the attainment of pupils covered by the Premium and the extra support that they receive.
